Training

Safety and Risk Management offers online and instructor-led safety training for workplace and research/clinical studies areas.

Online training

Chem/Bio online training courses are offered through Blackboard. See what training is available, who it applies to and how to access it via our Laboratory Safety Training guide.  

Radiation Safety online training is a stand-alone course also offered through Blackboard.  To enroll in this course, login to Blackboard and search for course "Radiation Safety Training for Research Laboratory Employees" [TRAIN-100-001-2011Continuous].  Once you select the course, use the password 9131 to enroll.  After you have enrolled, follow the instructions on the Course Documents page.

Blackboard offers generalized training intended to supplement, not replace, task-specific training.

Instructor-led training

Instructor-led training is customized to your specific work area hazards or needs. Available topics include:
